The Canberra and Region Heritage Festival is set to return in 2026, showcasing the unique heritage of the Canberra region. Under the theme Mid-Century – innovation, change and optimism, the festival highlights the progressive ideas and mid-century developments that influenced Canberra’s architectural, cultural and social evolution as the national capital. In addition to this focus, the program features a broad mix of events celebrating the region’s cultural, natural and historical heritage.
